I’m New at New Season

1.) Who are we?

New Season is a family church that ranges in ages, ethnicities and life experiences. Wherever you may be in your life’s journey, it is the heart of New Season that you would feel loved and treasured as you come and worship with us.

2.) What is our service time?

We start service promptly at 10am, so plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes earlier, to make sure to enjoy all of the worship service before the sermon.

3.) What about Children’s Church?

Upon coming to New Season, you will be shown where the appropriate classes are for your child(ren) age groups. After our corporate worship service, the children will be dismissed to their classes where they can learn in a safe and secure environment, having a fun interactive experience.

4.) What to expect for service?

To begin our service, we start with worship music that is vibrant with a diversity of styles chosen for one purpose… to prepare your heart for what God has in store for you! Pastor Shawn will share a biblically based message in his high energy style, many times with visual sermon illustrations and his frequent use of humor. Afterwards, we finish with a time of prayer, an opportunity for people to become followers of Jesus, as well as personal ministry for any prayer need you may have. We dress in many different styles, from business casual to shorts and sandals, and we encourage everyone to dress in a way they feel most comfortable.

5.) What to expect after service?

We invite you to visit our Information Desk to find out more of the ministries at New Season that would best suite your individual needs and/or the needs of your family. You can explore the different opportunities to connect with more people just like you, and even make some new friends.

We encourage you to join us in Common Ground, immediately following Sunday service, for free beverages and snacks allowing for a time to fellowship. What better way to connect with new people but with a free cup of java in your hand!

6.) What ways are available to stay connected beyond the weekend service?

Finally, we encourage you to stay connected with us at New Season throughout the week by joining us on Facebook and Twitter. We also have ministries available for men, women and young adults on a monthly basis, as well as 24:7 Youth Ministries every Thursday.

Our Beliefs

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified and buried. On the third day, He arose from the dead and ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty until His enemies become His footstool.

We believe in the rapture, that the dead in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.

We believe that after death, eternal life begins either in heaven or in hell; where one spends eternity is based on one’s decision to live according to God’s Word and commandments or to rebel against God.

We believe in the indwelling and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe the Bible is the written Word of God inspired by God. We believe faith is acting out on the Word of God.

We believe in divine healing which is the restoration of health to one who believes and acts on God’s Word and that Jesus is the Healer. We further believe that by the stripes of Jesus we were healed!

We believe in tithing and bringing offerings into the local church. We believe in giving alms, and caring for the poor, sick, homeless, and otherwise unfortunate.

We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the name of Jesus, and the authority invested in that name.
