about us
Pastor Shawn and Dr. Heidi Capozzi are the senior pastors and founders of New Season Christian Fellowship located in Apache Junction, AZ. The Capozzi’s are originally from Horseheads, N.Y. and relocated to Arizona in 1997. Their mandate is to raise up a church of healthy individuals which make strong marriages and in turn, make strong families. Strong families produce strong churches which can change the world with God’s love!
NSCF is a family oriented church that will teach and preach the uncompromised Word of God to equip the body of Christ to do that which God has called them to do (the work of the ministry). Their ministry has a strong emphasis on the family. They believe that the restoration of the family through the local church will result in the restoration of our nation.
Pastor Shawn and Dr. Heidi have many years of experience in counseling. together. Dr. Heidi has her Doctoral Degree as a Clinical Christian Counselor, specializing in Marriage and Family, and is an Academic Clinical Supervisor with National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA).
They also are the CEO and Presidents of Ethos Counseling Institute (ECI), an institute for training up counselors through NCCA courses.
Pastor Shawn and Dr. Heidi were licensed into the work of the ministry in 1999 and ordained in 2004.
New Season opened its doors on February 6, 2005.
They have three grown children and two daughters-in-love, Justin and his bride Cheyenne, Jordan and his bride Hannah and their youngest Kirstyn, who faithfully serve in many capacities within the church. And they are blessed with two beautiful grandchildren as well!
The Capozzi family resides in Apache Junction, AZ.

Who are we?
New Season is a family church that ranges in ages, ethnicities, and life experiences. Wherever you may be in your life’s journey, it is the heart of New Season that you would feel loved and treasured as you come and worship with us.
What about Children’s Church?
Upon coming to New Season, you will be shown where the appropriate classes are for your child(ren) age groups. After our corporate worship service, the children will be dismissed to their classes where they can learn in a safe and secure environment, having a fun interactive experience.
What to expect for service?
To begin our service, we start with worship music that is vibrant with a diversity of styles chosen for one purpose… to prepare your heart for what God has in store for you! A biblically-based message will then be shared. Afterward, we finish with a time of prayer, an opportunity for people to become followers of Jesus, as well as personal ministry for any prayer need you may have.

We invite you to visit our Information Desk to find out more about the ministries at New Season that would best suit your individual needs and/or the needs of your family.
We encourage you to join us in Common Ground, immediately following Sunday service, for free beverages and snacks allowing for a time to fellowship. What better way to connect with new people than with a free cup of coffee in your hand!

WHAT WE BELIEVE
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
These three are co-equal and are one God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless, human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives believers spiritual gifts and empowers them for ministry.
As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible is God’s Word to us in written form. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
Because it is inspired by God, it is the infallible word of God.

women’s ministry
REACH Women’s Ministry meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
It is a wonderful time to enjoy the company of other women, worship and a refreshing time of the Word. Through discussion groups, they are able to build stronger and deeper relationships with one another and especially with our Heavenly Father.
*Ages: Out of High School and older (18+)
The Round Table Men's Ministry meets once a month on the 3rd Saturday @ 9:00 am.
It is the heart of the men of Round Table to build a safe place of accountability between men so that they might further in the depths of who God has called them to be, as men of God, as husbands, and as fathers. This time is spent equipping the men to fulfill their destinies through studying the Word and discussing its significance in their daily lives.
